It appears that a Strida sub-brand may be on the horizon, although it may be a Japan-only model.
It looks like a regular folding bike frame, but with belt-driven, cantilevered wheels and Internal gears.
I see some Brompton-like rollers on the carrier.
The link doesn’t work (perhaps a location issue).
That post seems to have been erased.
Well, I got the impression that it was not something very innovative, but more of a way to make the Strida brand recognizable to beginners.
Hi guys.
I’m writing this from Japan.
I just find some information about STRiDA rabbit, so I’d like to share it with you.
Recently, this product’s Trademark “STRIDA rabbit” was registered in Japan.
(Application: 2024-07-12, Registered:2025-02-04)
There are two interesting points.
- Trademark holder is Japan agency, CROMO Corp.
(STRiDA Logo holder in Japan is Ming Cycle Industrials)
- According to my investigation, application of this Trademark is only in Japan.
(I searched Taiwan and EU databases but hits no found)
So, I think this product will probably only be available in Japan.
(Well, at least if it can be commercialized…)
I also find STRiDA rabbit picture.(in third pic)
CROMO’s staff says it’s just prototype.
And according to deleted x post, it has speed drive system.
I think it has belt drive but not sure.
Also, it looks like Mon-bell’s SCHEIDEGG TR-F 16.
(Unfortunately, TR-F series were all recalled due to frame weakness)
I’m already an owner of STRiDA, but to tell the truth, I can’t wait STRiDA rabbit!
If there is any progress in this, I‘ll post here later
Hello Shina417,

Indeed interesting, many thanks for posting.
Kind regards to Japan,
Chris
