Latest options for Electric Strida?

Have been looking at any options out there for electric assist for our Stridas, and have come across this in Russia that offer a friction motor kit and also a front wheel hub motor. They also now have a Pedal Assist Sensor too.

Looks quite interesting…

On the links below, for the website I used ‘Translate’ within Chrome browser, and on YouTube I used Subtitles - ‘auto-translate’ to english

Yes, and they also have a PAS sensor that can be fitted on the crank.

100% with you

Here’s the American variety:

*Pardon for the wrong info before.

That looks good but unfortunately the UK legal limit is 250W - so is too powerful for us delicate Brits…!

Is software limitation legal in your country?

I think so, but would be paying considerably more for a 750W motor and ancillary equipment, that could not be used …

Well…next to economical aspects, there are of course also very personal things which belong to this; moral, ethics, amount of criminal intentions…availability of private territory (where I could ride 20 kW if I want) will be interesting too…
My personal philosophy is/was always; better to have more than I need.

Btw, as an Austrian, I would - logically - prefer to use a local product.
Unfortunately, there is no Strida - specific mount available for this drive:
add-e

Indeed, I would not buy from Russia. The add-e looks very nice!
