Confused about the model

hello there!
I’m really new one who into Strida bike. And I’ve found this one and they said It’s special edition and I didn’t find any. Can you guys findout with me which model is it and is custom coloured or really special edition.Here is also serial number in here. ( M09K002834 )

That is the model Strida 5.0.

Custom colour: Maybe, but done by Ming themselves (Both safety stickers are present).

Special edition: Truly possible (Carrier in frame colour is extraordinary).

Frame ID: As we do not have any info about these numbers, all you might try is to contact Ming cycle directly.

Warning: According to my antivirus programs are all Strida pages from Taiwan heavy infected! Protect yourself!

As Blackstridaaustria san said, I think it’s a limited edition 5.0 model. I’d
My LT also appears to be a different model from the current camouflage model (mine has cast wheels and fenders, so it’s not off-road oriented), and it seems that there are no matching models currently on sale.
Many limited models are released in different regions, countries, and periods, so it would be best to inquire with the manufacturer.recommend contacting Ming with the frame number.

Hi, sorry for hijacking the thread. I bought a Strida from a person who did not know what she was selling. @Blackstridaaustria would this be a model 5.0 too? Thanks in advance!

Yes, I’d say that is also a 5.0.
Rear hinge a bit rusty (no issue as long as it works) and there seems something odd with the rear brake cable spiral - close to the seat tube, is there the black hose visible?

Hi Chris,

Thanks for confirming and thanks for spotting the brake cable spiral! The black hose was visible indeed. I can shift the spiral back and forth over the hose a bit. I moved it back now so it covers the hose at the openings of both the front and back tube. If you have any more tips they are more than welcome :wink:

Hi Anton,
as I’m not sure if the safety stickers are still present, maybe something essential - please:

  • No wheelies.
  • No jumps.
  • No standup - pedaling.
    …for more; I’d need the lady in hands for a while and dance a bit :face_with_monocle:
