Carbon fibre handlebars for Strida

Just a few sets have been made by a member of Hong Kong Strida Club. :sunglasses:

3rd-party carbon fibre handlebars for Strida made by “SiDEAS Design” (not the same person of the abovementioned member of HK Strida Club) are now available in Hong Kong. :wink:

Full carbon fibre handbar tubes with aluminium parts inside the joints.

2 differnt lengths: 23cm and 25cm are available (The length of the stock aluminium handlebars of Strida is 23cm).

That looks very pimp! just becareful for anyone that’s using ergon handlebar grips because they rely on tightening the end and could crush carbon fiber. (it’s on their own warning labels)

I’m wondering about their weight. Are they actually lighter than the original set?

I can’t find these bars for sale anywhere.
How much did they cost when they were available?
Did they ever have any problems?

I can’t seem to get a membership to the HK Strida forum so I can’t research them further.

I’ve found three prices of them, the most plausible (and half ways actual) seems to be 700 HK§ (?).
