Today in Vancouver I saw a unique folder. the owner (who didn’t speak much English) said she’d brought it from Taiwan. I had no camera with me, so here’s a description. Any wizards out there recognise it?
Like the Strida, it has monotubes (or stub axle) front and back for easy folding. Small wheels about 18". Unusual rectangular box frame, probably aluminum. In styling nothing like Strida, has the usual giant seat and handlebar extensions characteristic of traditional small wheel frames.
But stub axles! That makes it special, particularly with a multispeed hub at the back (chain drive).
