Has anyone retrofitted a schlumpf on their strida?

Same dealer:
Strida LT 639 Euro...

Calculating ~ 600 for LT and ~ 700 (at least) for the Schlumpf...

It is less expensive to buy in Singapore...I bought my LT there for 750SGD and EVO 3 there cost 1500SGD. (350SGD more expensive here in France)

And what about custom's duty?

I didn't had to pay custom duty when I brought my Strida LT from Singapore to here (France). I was with my wife and kid with 13 languages (including OTTO massage chair, Strida LT, and bunch of baby stuff). Customs at CDG airport are not strict I guess.

700+ for the Schlumpf is cheaper than 1250 for the evo at this time for me... I guess i will go for it...

although it is not indicated here, I'm pretty sure that this is 16", i tested this exact bike and compared it to LT.

You're right, this is an EVO on 16" wheels.
Supposing these are original wheels, it must be 16 inch because there are 12 spoke pairs per wheel visible,
18 inch are built with 18 pairs (36 spokes).

Perhaps the store/workshop owner could be asked, I bet on exchanged wheels...

Oh!
I think that's a highly complex question which cannot be answered with "this" or "that".
Depending on many different factors like the road surface, the required ability to climb uphill, the desired grade of comfort, the size and also weight of the rider, leg strength and so on it's highly recommended to configure tyres and their sizes for each user individually, I'm sure.

Please try the forum search to find several angles of sight, maybe first the words:
tyre, tire, Kojak, Innova, Big Apple, Kenda, Marathon...

Availability and price for Europe unknown so far...

Surprisingly was the new beltwheel already seen before at the Eurobike 2013,
on this - very special! - Strida, shown at the haberstock mobility booth.



This bike belongs to Mr. Schlumpf himself!!!
(It was lent to Haberstock because they didn't have a "platform" to present the new 80 teeth beltwheel.)
