Who is the world is writing up their advertising?!
You have a single speed so you call it “no choice”? cause you have only one gear? hahaha!they should redo that!
Actually, the B-Drive has a 7-speed internal-gear hub.
Here are the reactions from StridaCafe members in Korea.
Dear friends
Here are reactions from StridaCafe leaders --Danial, Hachy, TNT, Popcorn, Mango-- and I can tell there will be the same from the other members, if the B-DRIVE is officially launched with Strida name.
[Emotionally] everyone showed Rages, "FUCK".
[Opinions] were simple.
1. Foolish! It's not Strida.
2. Remember! Strida has its own history.
3. Respect! Mark Sanders is still alive.
[Official position]
StridaCafe will bitterly oppose the launch of clearly-different bicycles having the name Strida. Their plan is wrong because customers also buy the image of Strida --not only triangle rolling machine. Customers surely have opinions about the monetary value of the image in their minds. If a loss of the value occurs by distributors intentionally, WE will ask compensation to them.
As I told you before, it’s hard to believe Sanbada is really going to launch the bike with Strida name. In this week, Sanbada is moving their headquarters(the main shop) from the center to a suburb of Seoul. You know? They didn’t announce the move to customers! They are moving suddenly and secretly now! Did MingCycle finish its production with name printing? If not --fortunately–, I seriously suggest Ming to check the financial status of Sanbada.
Please let me know yours opinions or new information
Best regards,
Binch Shin

So besides the name and the Belt there’s nothing really to do with strida at all?

instead of calling this strida b-drive they should just call it “typical mini velo with a belt drive” that’s basically all it is, nothing ground breaking or unique that mark sanders would design. Pacific cycle’s IF mode and their carry me’s would be unique and ground breaking to me, at least Ming got a little creative with the 3 speed strida. But this is something I’ve seen plenty of in my japan trip last year (mini velo’s are popular there).

Wait a minute! Is that a non-Strida “Strida” folding bike in the photo next to the last?

That was totally weird with the overuse of the brand strida. They’re really killing it when you put the name strida on a DAHON style folding bike! That last bike was looking like something dahon would make with this style of fold.
way to kill the name guys!
These e-bikes don’t even use a belt but chain. What makes them “Stridas?”
