I’m 72 years old got my first LT used in the mid 2000 silver light lovable used it in New York City great for the Subway
I even attached a big wheeled trash can to the rack as a makeshift trailer and it worked well
My lLT was stolen this spring in Toronto Canada
I found a used 5 for less then $300. Cdn I’ve used bill to get parts for my lt and I miss him already
My new 5 ish could be a fake not accurate loose since it is just not like my old LT
The 5ish had wonky wheels that were difficult to get true there are many washers used as shims on the rear wheel The bars have a tiny brass pins that taper instead of having a cap they dig into my thumb when deploying And the central QT never stays locked ( in the stem to bar clip ) it slips off
I tried it with out the plastic shim no good so its necessary to clamp it with a Velcro band.
The bearing seem stif .
it didn’t roll well
Didn’t have a carrier or a seat adjuster QR Paint chips with every knock
Brakes not adjusted And the rotors are scalloped they are ok but the levers are stiff and hard to adjust The bike was second hand very little use But sub standard
