Flying with Strida

Hello everyone,

Has anyone ever checked his Strida into baggage when traveling by airplane? If you did, I wonder how you packed your Strida. Did you protect wheels/brakes part only or put the whole bike folded into a box?

I am thinking of using homedepot orange bucket covers to cover the brakes, but I wonder if there’s a better approach to this.

Any comment regarding this would truly be appreciated.

I am flying in a few days.

Thanks so much!

Renat

Storing your Strida in a good luggage is probably the best. Some people use golf bags but I’ve never tried that. If you’d like to use the official Strida travel carrying bag, I’d suggest padding it with thick cardboards and/or durable packing bubbles around more delicate components such as the brakes. Remember to deflate your tires.
