I have given up on the SX. It was just too unstable for me. In the end I have bought a brace of Moultons, one is a modern 30 speed and the other an older 21 speed. The SX still has a place in my home, but only as an ornament. One or other of the Moultons is ridden a few times a week, 30 - 50 miles, and the 30 speed recently completed a 400 mile tour, which I would not want to have tried to undertake on the SX.
